Experience Change
I welcome those looking to make meaningful changes in their lives. Each of us has different anxieties, desires, wishes, and needs which should be fully explored. The therapeutic process enhances deeper levels of emotional understanding in regard to oneself, one's relationships, and one's circumstances. By examining one's conflicts the client can move from a place of stagnation to one of growth. Although as a therapist I'm acting in a professional capacity I also believe that an authentic connection is essential for a successful treatment. Lastly, it is important to realize that therapy is a healing process but it requires participation and investment from the client and therapist alike.
"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination"
Getting Started
Treatment typically begins with a scheduled phone call (15-30 min,no charge) in order to further discuss your unique situation, and answer any questions you may have about therapy. If both you and I think it would be a good idea to move forward then a weekly hour will be chosen. Therapy begins with consultation (2-4 meetings). The consultation endeavors to provide you with an assessment of the core challenges that may be addressed in therapy and to decide on a direction and style of treatment that would works best advance your goals.
